Rondissone is Aer Soléir’s flagship battery storage project. At 250 MW, 4h duration it is the largest Battery Storage project under construction in Italy. It is located in Piedmont, which is part of the Italy Nord Power Zone.

The Rondissone project won a 15-year Capacity Market Contract with the Italian Government in the Q1 2025 auction at €47k/MW per year securing over €115M in revenues over the contract tenor. Under this contract Rondissone will provide flexible capacity to support the Italian Power Grid in exchange for fixed annual payments.
